A Special Evening

November 20th, 2019 Posted by Uncategorized No Comment yet

On Monday, December 9, the women doctors of Medicine For The Soul, part of the VRC ensemble choir, will sing for family and friends.  There is an added component.  Many of these doctors knew Dr. Elana Fric, a friend, colleague, mother, daughter and sister, that was tragically killed in December, 2016.  The doctors sing for her, and other women who suffer at the hands of domestic abuse.  This concert coincides with White Ribbon Day, December 6-a day set aside and initiated by men, in a response to the tragic shooting of 14 women in Montreal.  We stand together at this concert, wearing white ribbons in honour of people touched by abuse.  We sing for you.
