Every year, Voices Rock Canada is proud to perform for the patients, parents and staff at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, as part of the #GIVINGTUESDAY initiative, country-wide.  #GIVINGTUESDAY is a kind balance to Black Friday/Cyber Monday.  It’s our way of giving back to a wonderful community.  This year, we raised $1,225.00 in donations.  Thank you, HB…until next year!

VRC Ensemble Celebrates Volunteers at TIFF

July 28th, 2018 Posted by Uncategorized No Comment yet

VRC Ensemble was proud to sing in celebration of the hundreds of TIFF volunteers.  Yesterday, we shot this celebration at the Elgin Theatre, along with 500 other volunteers and singers.  It was a long day, but waaaayyyyy fun!

We met many new members of VRC Ensemble and are so looking forward to the new season, starting in September.

Look for us on the trailers of movies during the Toronto International Film Festival!

Always Grateful,

Voices Rock Canada loves supporting local initiatives.  Q107 and Longo’s in Leaside, have collected donations for the Daily Break Food Bank the last few years.  This is VRC’s second year of support.  We got to meet Jen, the fantastic VJ and John Derringer, of Q107’s morning show, all the while supporting a great cause.  Well done, Q107 and Longo’s!

SEIU Healthcare Women’s Conference

March 25th, 2018 Posted by Uncategorized No Comment yet

Three of our VRC superstars, from left, Mel, Lily and Sierra, rocked the SEIU Healthcare Women’s Conference on Saturday at the Sheraton Centre.  The motto of the conference was “The Future Is Female;” they brought the house down with songs such as “Roar”, “I’ll Be There” and “Perfect”. These songs got the women on their feet singing and dancing with an incredible standing ovation at the end.   Well done, girls.  Anthony and I are so proud of you!

What Is Your Voice?

December 26th, 2017 Posted by Uncategorized No Comment yet

A magical night…32 of us, on stage at Dancemaker’s Studio in the Distillery District, a sold out performance.  We wowed the crowd with songs like: Wheat Kings (Tragically Hip), Magic Carpet Ride (Steppenwolf), Beside You (Marianna’s Trench) and more…

The beauty of the Christmas Market, the balanced sound of the choral ensemble and the sparkling lights of the venue, made the whole evening a night to remember.

We’re on holidays until January 30….registration for low voices is still open.  JOIN US!
