Special Delivery From VR Med!

The women of Voices Rock Medicine came together this holiday season to prepare wrapped shoe boxes with gifts and essentials to gift to local women in need! In conjunction with the CWIM Shoebox Party Toolkit and the Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Organization (TNO)’s Violence Against Women’s (VAW) program, VR Med put together 20 shoeboxes of self-care & wellness essentials to be gifted to those less fortunate at this time of year in the Thorncliffe Park area.

VR Med believes strongly that offering a tangible gift is a powerful reminder to a woman that she has not been forgotten and that she remains a valued and respected member of her community — especially during a time when she may feel alone and isolated. VR Med is thrilled to spread joy not only through music, but also through this act of kindness.
